| Candidates will be highly self motivated and innovative, have a proven background and be fully conversant with all aspects of project controls and/or contract management in the fields associated with production, mechanical, electrical and site engineering within a medium sized engineering company, and ideally should educated to HNC/HND Degree standards. Applicants should be able to: - Demonstrate an understanding and working knowledge of project planning and programming tools, effective cost management (budgets, monitoring, control and reporting) Be competent in resource management, commercial awareness, articulate with good interpersonal skills. An ability to motivate others, ensuring that specifications, programmes and budgets are satisfactorily achieved. Validate an understanding of the management of design, detailed engineering, procurement, manufacture and construction works. Communicate, liaise and interface well with all levels of customer and company personnel. Have an awareness of quality assurance, health, safety and environmental issues and standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a Full UK Driving Licence are also essential for this post. |
