| We are looking to recruit a process design engineer to join our existing technical team. Working as part of this diverse, multi-discipline team you will be involved with various projects at different stages. You will undertake engineering conceptual and basic design, installation, commissioning and maintenance requirements of a regulated site. Day to day, you’ll design process solutions to time and cost - ensuring design compliance with Company and legal requirements, manage design checking and review procedures. You will have proven experience in process design engineering, ideally focusing on fluid systems and including working knowledge of pipework and vessel systems, pipe & pump sizing, valve specification, specification of instrumentation, selection of heat exchangers, vessels, receivers etc. You will be competent in the design, specification and engineering of process and utility plant, including Compressed Air, Water, Fuel and Cooling Systems. Ideally you will be educated to HND, Degree, or an equivalent qualification; the successful candidate should demonstrate motivation and determination to meet deadlines and succeed in any given situation and to have the relevant experience across a range of industries, including power generation oil, gas and aerospace. Good level of PC literacy in MS office packages and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. |
