Job Title: Aerospace Sales Manager
Description
Due to our continued growth we now have a requirement for an Aerospace Sales Manager to generate new business opportunities both in the UK and abroad. Reporting to the Technical and Sales Director, this key position will have a number of responsibilities:

Developing long-term relationships with current partners whilst looking to continually sell new products and services that could compliment their requirements.

Define the market and opportunities that exist within the commercial airline and military fields outside of the significant organisations that Cullum Detuners Limited already work closely with.

Review the current order pricing policy and ensure that all customers are aware of the complete range of Cullum Detuners Limited capabilities.

Preparation of proposals and tenders.

The ideal candidate will be committed to strong, focused sales management and customer service, an outstanding communicator, and have a positive attitude. It is likely that you will come from an engineering background or have a relevant qualification. An understanding of the Civil/Commercial, MOD aviation environment will be crucial and ideally you will have worked with acoustic aerospace solutions; however experience in other technical industries would be relevant.

The successful candidate’s experience will include:

A background in technical sales preferably associated with the aerospace industry

A grounding in engineering - most of what we do involves selling technical solutions

A proven track record of sales achievements and contribution to the growth of a successful business.

Experience of developing organisational processes and structures to support performance and improvement operations.

Experience of working with aerospace acoustic solutions would be an advantage

Experience selling in a technical solutions environment will be a prerequisite as will the ability to absorb technical information and communicate this to others

You will be customer focused with excellent teamwork. You will be able to inspire and encourage others to develop. You should be able to demonstrate tenacity and a strong desire to succeed as well as the ability to work on your own initiative. The role requires some overseas travel.
